Team at Memoir Shangri-La
Memoir Shangri-La was born from a lifetime journeys across Bhutan’s rugged mountains, hidden valleys, and vibrant cultural heartlands of the Founder/Proprietor who served over 35 years of distinguished service in Bhutan’s civil service as a public servant holding various posts including Dzongdag (Governor/CEO) of Dzongkhag (District) and Director General in various departments. His deep knowledge of the country’s landscapes, people, and traditions form the heart of Memoir Shangri-la, a Travel Host. The Founder is also a widely travelled man across the world, enriching his understanding of global cultures, governance, and heritage – perspectives he now brings to curating journeys in Bhutan.

Our management team, including the CEO, brings together experience, professionalism, and a deep passion for sharing Bhutan with the world. Together, we ensure that every guest receives not only seamless services but also meaningful and memorable experiences.
